Individual level

• Opening of bank a/c- Both with the help of Aadhar card and direct with other Identity cards available.

• Health camps- 2 Health camps by Maitri India in one month and 1 Health in 2 months by Government.

• Issue of ID proofs- It would be need based. Tracking the rickshaw pullers without any ID proof, lining up the process of getting UID or Voter or BPL card.

• Getting rickshaws on loan- Getting list of rickshaw pullers and others who wish to buy their own rickshaw then providing them the choice of buying through SMV Wheels or Ranchi Nagar Nigam.

• Awareness- Garage wise providing awareness on various programmes, conducting traffic awareness and training.

• Self-Employment-If the rickshaw puller is unable to ride rickshaw so help them to get other work in small scale.

• Provident fund account- Formation of SHG’s of rickshaw and lining up the work for PF account.

 

  Family Level

• RSBY- Issuance of RSBY Card through enrolments and organising health camps through Government once in 2 months so that proper use of that card is done.

• Indira Awaaz- Rickshaw pullers who belong to Ranchi and lives in a rented house or he lives in garage and his family lives in nearby village, lining up the process of Indira awaaz yojna for them.

• Provident fund- This will benefit the whole family.

• Awareness on various programmes- Programmes related to their wives, daughters, children and parents like (Ladli yojna, Pension plans etc.)

                                                                     

  Community Level

• Formation of SHG- Garage wise gathering interested people to save money and this would help in opening a PF account.

• Union- This would be done area wise. Rickshaw pullers will be selecting representatives from their own community and form this group in order to fight for their rights.

• Opening up dropping centres and Shelter homes for rickshaw pullers, selecting garages where the rickshaw garage is on the land of garage owner.

• With the help of Ranchi Nagar Nigam arranging a place for rickshaw pullers where they can keep their rickshaws, also those who have individual rickshaws.

• Awareness programmes- If many rickshaw pullers belong to one area then conducting awareness camps block wise or area wise.
